Vicki Pozzebon, Executive Director
Vicki’s background includes arts administration, nonprofit development, marketing and public relations. Vicki holds a master’s degree in Theatre Arts and has owned her own theater company in Vermont, where she was also a faculty member with Vermont State Colleges. From 2004 to 2006 Vicki was active in the Santa Fe tourism and hospitality industry as the Marketing and PR Director of the Santa Fe Southern Railway.
Vicki has served on the Board of Directors of Southwestern College; and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the national organization of the American Independent Business Alliance; an Advisory Board Member of the Santa Fe Small Business Development Center; and a Founding Board Member of the Capulin Cooperative for Renewable Energy. Mayor Coss appointed Vicki to the City of Santa Fe’s Business and Quality of Life Committee in 2008.
Beverly Post, Membership Director
Beverly has been involved in the non-profit arena, as either paid staff or active volunteer, for 20 years. Her non-profit work experience includes public relations and community outreach, fundraising, event coordination, and board member.
Beverly has worked as a freelance writer and editor, and has received several citations for her writing. She has a bachelor’s degree in Urban Affairs, and a Teaching Certification through the New Mexico Alternative Licensure Program. A staunch supporter of independent business and local economy, Beverly is thrilled to be able to combine her skills and her values through her work at the Alliance.
Kathleen Chambers, Program Coordinator
Kathleen runs the Alliance’s Farm to Restaurant Project and is the founding organizer of the Santa Fe chapter of Green Drinks, a monthly grassroots environmental networking-and-cocktails opportunity. She is the Marketing & Promotions Consultant for the Sierra Club’s national publication, SIERRA.
Kathleen has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication from CU Boulder and brings eighteen years of combined professional experience in sales, marketing, promotions, public relations and event planning. Previously, she served as Marketing Director for Mothering magazine and ran her own book publicity business. Kathleen is passionate about sustainability and conservation and is optimistic that both innovation and a collective evolution toward community-based cooperation will help us live more in tune with our planet and each other. In the meantime, she continues to hike, bike, do yoga, walk her dog and live as lightly on the planet as possible.
Allayne Scott, Business Manager
Allayne had her own bookkeeping service in Santa Fe for 10 years and was the Fiscal Officer at Southwest Acupuncture College for 18 years. She has her Bachelors Degree in Sociology/Anthropology and has recently taken classes in sustainability at UNM and in the environmental technology certification program at SFCC. She has her Permaculture Design Certificate and has lived in Eldorado in a passive solar house for over 25 years. Allayne supports businesses focusing on the Triple Bottom Line – People, Planet, Profit.
Saro Calewarts, Executive Administrative Assistant
Saro is the newest member of the Santa Fe Alliance team. She has 16 years of non and for profit business and administrative experience. Most recently she worked at the Museum of New Mexico Foundation assisting the executive director, licensing department and director of retail operations. She also worked for 10 years in the coffee industry in the Pacific Northwest, consulting and training clients on coffee preparation and running a successful coffee businesses.
